[glow=red,2,300]Scene 1[/glow]
The scene opens with Gino Knoxx sitting in his home in Knoxxville, TN. He is sitting at his desk with a pen and check list. In the background you can hear the crack of wood as a fire is going in the fireplace. The only sounds you can hear are the fire and the pen moving across a piece of paper in front of Gino. He is currently wearing sleek black suit with his coat hanging off the back of his chair. Gino sets the pen down and starts to speak without looking toward the camera.
Gino Knoxx- I know your wondering just what I’m writing down on this paper. See it’s a list of EWE hall of famers I’ve beat in my time in the EWE. Triple H, White Tiger, Rikku, Johnny Chaos, Shawn Ashlocke, Sean Lewis, and Assassin. That’s seven EWE Hall of Famers and you Eighteen will be number eight. See Eighteen the last time we faced each other you did get the best of me with I admit you were the best in the first encounter, but this time it will be different. Eighteen the difference between then and now are the same expect you are the Undisputed Champion, but you are same old Eighteen no matter what you say. I’m also different from our first match. You say I’m not World Title material which in fact could be true if in fact I had a fair title match. My one and only title match I had at The Royal Rumble. I was on the verge of winning the EWE Title when Dan Taylor came in and interfered. My one and only TITLE match taken away from me by some jealous wrestler.
Gino circles Eighteen’s name many times.
Gino Knoxx- See Eighteen I have nothing to lose now. I’m in semi-retirement and I know you will say you are going to put me in full retirement blah blah blah. Eighteen your threats don’t bother me nor worry me. You may have done a lot more in the EWE then I have. Does that matter? NO. See the one thing I do have over you Eighteen is Final Cut. See at Final Cut if you remember I lasted longer then you and well most of your team expect Triple H. I took out your bitch in White Tiger. I damn near played spoiler for Xplosion and I repeat damn near. I didn’t finish the job and win at Final Cut, but that’s all old business. Speaking of old business you and everyone else keep speaking of my time in the AWO. That’s something that’s getting old very fast. Everyone I’ve faced in my time here in the EWE has talked about me and the AWO. Nothing new, but the same old crap. When will you learn Eighteen to do something different from everyone else and be the one who doesn’t speak about my time in the AWO or anything about that old failed company.
Gino stands up and takes his coat off the back of the chair and slides it on.
Gino Knoxx- Eighteen I’ve never been the type of person to be a good boy to roll over and lay down. I’m nothing like White Tiger I don’t roll over and take it in the ass from you. I’m not going to walk into that ring and let you have your way with me. The problem with you Eighteen you think you are untouchable. The new era of the EWE is Eighteen and you’re not going to be little miss nice girl anymore. What a bunch of crap Eighteen and you know it. See the weak link in this company are people like you. God knows you think you’re a god in your eyes for example you remember Ro? You are the same thing as the fat bitch. You think you’re a wrestling god when in fact your not and I plan of showing you that myself Eighteen and I would hate for you to be shown up by a “weak link” of the EWE. What I want to do Eighteen is embarrass you so badly that you want to have another match with me expect the next time you would put up that Undisputed Title of yours. I want you to get that extra bit of confidence or cockiness of yours to an all time high only for me to crush it.
Gino goes over and grabs something from the dark. It’s a suitcase packed and ready to go.
Gino Knoxx- Our match on Showdown will not be an easy going type of match like the one you want. I’m going to go full force at you Eighteen. I learned a few things from our first match and other things sense well about the time you beat me. I’ve got some new things ready just for you. Don’t worry I won’t hurt you as much. I want you to be ready to lose that Undisputed Title to whoever you defend it against. Just hope to god Eighteen that I don’t break you. Speaking of breaking I found it funny that you said you were going to break my spirit.
He rubs his chin and smiles a little bit.
Gino Knoxx- There is nothing you can do to break my spirit. No fireball nor trash talk can do anything to break me. In the words of Russian from Rocky 4 “I will break You.” At Showdown Eighteen you will be the one who gets Annihilated cause this is going to be good!
Gino grabs his bag and walks away from the camera as the scene fades out.
[glow=red,2,300]Scene 2[/glow]
The scene opens with Jonathon Steele sitting in an office dressed in a suit and tie. He is sitting alone with only one chair around him the one he is sitting in. He checks on some papers he has in his lap. He looks up as the camera man counts down.
Jonathon Steele- Ladies and Gentlemen I’m Jonathon Steele with an interview with one Gino Knoxx. Sense he is not here yet this interview will be done over the speaker phone. Mr. Knoxx are you there?
Gino Knoxx- Yes I’m here John.
Jonathon Steele- Thank you for taking time out and doing this interview with me.
Gino Knoxx- No problem Steele let’s get this started
Jonathon Steele- Well first off let’s get to my first question and I want to know straight up. Why would you challenge the Undisputed Champion in Eighteen?
Gino Knoxx- You know Jonathon I’ve asked that question to myself. After I thought about it I came to this answer. I wanted to prove something to everyone and show that Eighteen isn’t that great champion she thinks or anyone thinks she will be. I want to show everyone that Gino Knoxx is still the greatest wrestler to ever grace the EWE.
Jonathon Steele- One thing that Eighteen stated in her promo is that you said because WrestleMania was a lack luster ppv she also said the reason was because you were there to fail once again to win the EWE Undisputed Title.
Gino Knoxx- Hold on there Steele. See what Eighteen doesn’t realize is that I’ve only had two title matches in my EWE career.
Jonathon Steele- Do you care to go into better detail?
Gino Knoxx- I’ve only had two title matches. The first was at Summerslam for the EWE Undisputed Tag Team Titles which Ciaran Michaels and I won then the second came one year after my EWE debut. That’s two title matches of any kind. Why is that Steele?
Jonathon Steele- I don’t know Gino
Gino Knoxx- I did everything I could to even get a Mid-Eastern title match or any other title match as a matter of fact. I went in that ring week in and week out beating everyone they put before me. Hell I had a streak for a few months where I only wrestled the best that Chaos had to offer. I beat former champions, number one contenders, hall of famers and all the while they got the title matches. While I sat on the back burner even after I handed them their ass on a silver platter. Where were my titles matches that I rightfully earned? It took me a year to get my first EWE title match and when I finally got it that title was stolen from me and I was screwed out of becoming the EWE Champion.
Jonathon Steele- Do you blame anyone for that besides yourself?
Gino Knoxx- Myself Jonathon? Why should I blame myself? I went out there week after week doing what I do best and beat the living hell out of everyone I faced. I won week after week. I don’t blame myself I blame the EWE brass for not giving me what was rightfully mine in the first place those title matches I earned by beating the best. Now Jonathon that’s why I challenged Eighteen. I’m going to follow the rules of this company and work my way from the bottom to get what I want. I challenged Eighteen to send her a message and the EWE brass a message and that message is simple. There is no more Mr. Nice guy in Gino Knoxx anymore. I followed the rules before and where did that get me? It got me no where fast. It’s time for Gino Knoxx to start playing by his own rules and starts doing what he wants instead of what the fans want, the staff wants or what the owner wants. I’m doing things my way from now on and if you don’t like it you can go screw yourself.
Jonathon Steele- I can sense that you have a different attitude heading into Showdown against Eighteen, but why all of a sudden the change of attitude?
Gino Knoxx- I came to realize that if you want to get everything Steele do it your way. Look at what John Cena did. The longest reign EWE Champion in history over 6 months he held that title. Do you know why Steele?
Jonathon Steele- No I don’t
Gino Knoxx- It’s because he did things his way Steele. He didn’t follow anyone else orders or go with the flow of things. He ignored every ones’ guidelines and did whatever he wanted to do. That’s why he held the EWE Title for so long. It’s time for Gino Knoxx to start following that. Doing what he wants when he wants and to whoever he wants. When I make my EWE return on Showdown this Saturday you won’t see the same old Gino Knoxx. You will see my new attitude up close and personal.
Jonathon Steele- What about your former tag team partner and stable mate Rikku. She is now back in DOD with Eighteen and Sean Lewis.
Gino Knoxx- What about Rikku. Nothing personal against Rikku, but she needs to stay out of this one because Rikku the last time you and I were in the ring together against each other I beat you. Hell I’ve beat 2 out of the 3 members of DOD. Rikku and Sean Lewis both victims of my Knoxxlock and now it’s time to add Eighteen to that list and make DoD complete. Rikku you worry about your tag team match and I will worry about Eighteen. Stay out of our match Rikku I’m warning you. One more thing for you Rikku. The last time I heard you were a pride member of Sports Entertainment Xtreme and now you go back to that rag tag group DoD? You are a turn coat Rikku once you joined S.E.X you in it for good. Do warned Rikku stay away from this one.
Jonathon Steele- It’s been months sense you last wrestled in the EWE. Have you been training to get back in shape or started wrestling again in other companies?
Gino Knoxx- There is no need for me train Steele. I keep up my body every day. As for the wrestling part no I haven’t been wrestling any where in the world to get back in form. Why would I need to be in form when all I want to do is fight. You don’t need to be in wrestling form to fight anyone and how would you know Steele you’ve probably got your ass kicked many times before. I’m not worried about any ring rust or anything like that because all I want to do right now is smash Eighteen’s face into the mat.
Jonathon Steele- Is there any final words you would like to leave for you opponent Eighteen?
Gino Knoxx- Listen very close Eighteen because I’m only going to say this once. It will be time for you to learn that once you think you’ve figured out Gino Knoxx you learn something new. Our first match was only a fluke. Let’s see how great our Undisputed Champion really is. Eighteen on Showdown you will find out that Life is full of Hardknoxx and you will fail victim to the Knoxxlock!
Jonathon Steele- There you have it folks. A new attitude from Gino Knoxx and some strong words as well. Tune in to Saturday Night Showdown tomorrow night to witness the one on one grudge match Gino Knoxx vs the Undisputed Champion Eighteen in a non title match. See you tomorrow night on Showdown
The scene fades out as Steele straightens his papers and goes straight into a Showdown preview
