From a blank screen, we fade in to a shot of a large, well lit room, sunlight peering in through the windows making shadows stretch across the floor in the shape of the large pillars that hold up the building this that promo comes from. The room appears to be empty from life, only inhabiting pictures which are hung up against the wall and trophy cabinets which sit alongside the adjacent wall. Everything in the room was immaculate; door handles made out of gold, a perfectly laid, blemish free wooden floor, and everything laid out precisely in perfect symmetry with everything else.
The camera pans around the room to show more of the room, and when it comes full circle, "The Man of The Year," Alex Stone stands with his head tilted slightly forward and his arms crossed as he tenses all the muscles in his body so as to look bigger and more imposing than ever before.
Alex Stone: Welcome... to the hall of fame.
Alex uncrosses his arms and begins to very slowly walk around the room while talking incredibly peacefully, something Alex hasn't been too acustomed to recently.
Alex Stone: It is my hopes that I will one day be deemed worthy enough to have my picture hung up on these walls, to be put up alongside the man I helped retire, Law, as the greatest EWE Champion in history. We are all aware that I am indeed the man of the year; I don't need to go over all of my amazing accomplishments with you again including listing the other things which I am still to achieve in the next three months. But I have a lot to do before I can call myself the greatest EWE Champion of all time.
Alex wets his lips and thinks about what he has to say for a moment before he continues.
Alex Stone: Being the man of the year is one thing; anyone can have one great year. Many sportsmen have gone through their careers and played so horribly it made Britney Spear's recent comback on MTV look like a masterclass in the art of music, but they have that one really great year which people remember them for and they ride the wave of that success for the rest of their lives. I don't want to be in that category, as a man who had one great year and then failed to live up to the standards which he had set, a man unable to recapture his previous glories. I want to... no, I need to be remembered as the greatest EWE Champion of all time, so now I must become the EWE Champion once again.
Alex takes a deep breathe before he continues.
Alex Stone: My original plan was to go on a run as the champion, hold the belt for months and months until I had reached the one year mark and then continue to mark my dominance by fighting off every obstacle in my path and continue my reign as champion. But as you can see, I am without a championship belt at the moment, and so that means one thing: that my championship reign was ended very, very prematurely. How could this happen you say? Who could do this? Who could possibly hold the key to unlock Alex Stone and find a way to beat him, who could possibly be good enough to derail the frieght train known as Alex Stone? Well the truth is, no one is good enough to derail this train at full pelt, but if someone with a whole of lot luck who is as fresh as a daisy takes on that train when it is all out gas and just barely chugging along, ready to come to a complete stop before making it's final stop; then someone like K-Dawg can end Alex Stone's title reign.
Alex lowers his head and shame, shaking his head from side to side is disgust with himself for allowing K-Dawg to pin his shoulders to the mat at Summer Slam.
Alex Stone: K-Dawg and I have quite the history. It was one year ago when we originally faced off at Dynamic Destruction 2006. I was better than him then and I am better than him now, and so the result at this years show will be exactly the same as last year. But lets start from the very beginning shall, before Alex Stone and Kurtis Porter even knew that the other one existed.
Alex Stone: In the beginning, God created man. Man was a soldier, a leader; born to build, feed, protect and if necessary destroy. Over the years, man would evolve into the planet’s dominant species, but evolution is not without a sense of humour. Shortly after creating man, God created woman. Woman was made to be man’s servant, waiting on his every hand and foot, making sure he had everything he needed so that he was comfortable and he felt rewarded for all the effort that he had put in to his days duties. Woman would evolve to a point where they felt that this was unfair, they wanted to be treated equally, they wanted to go out into the world and find out what it was like to work all day and come home and have their dinner waiting for them, with man becoming the slave; I told you evolution had a sense of humour.
Alex Stone: Evolution is a funny thing; it is both a piece of brilliance and an absolute horror. Evolution has increased strength in men ten fold, to which I am a prime example of, but on the opposite end of the spectrum, evolution has also turned some men into lady-boys, into skinny little wimps, into complete pussies and absolute fairies who only like the sport of wrestling so they look at men in spandex sweating their asses off which they sit at home and jerk off. K-Dawg, has gone one better than that, he doesn’t sit at home jacking off, he gets in the ring and gets to touch these men first hand, he gets the opportunity to touch me. It much make his boyfriend Scotty Blaze awfully jealous, but Scotty’s so stoned all the time he probably doesn’t even notice.
Alex Stone: But there is such a thing as an alpha male, and that is where evolution has shown it’s greatness more than any other place, in the form of the man of the year, the former EWE Champion and 2007 King Of Xtreme, Alex Stone. Everybody in this company knows that one on one when my true self shows up, you can not touch me! Take a look at my past losses; a four man ladder match at Hell Frozen over, a triple threat elimination match at Wrestle Mania, a 6 man elimination chamber match at Summer Slam. What my problem is with multiple person matches I don’t know, but the people in those matches were elated knowing that they weren’t facing me one on one, because when you face Alex Stone one on one, you are literally staring death in the face, because I faced the Grim Reaper, I stole his scythe and I sliced his God damn head off, I am now the bringer of the death, I am the taker of souls, I am your judge, jury and executioner and I, K-Dawg, I sentence you to be executed at the hands of the most dominant wrestler in the history of this company at Dynamic Destruction, Alex Stone. Then it is only a matter of time before I take back my championship and I am recognized world wide as not the man of the year, but the man of EWE history. The pictures on these walls will be ripped down to make room for mine because none of them will matter. K-Dawg, I hope you’ve said your goodbye’ to everyone, because Sunday night at Dynamic Destruction is you time to die!
Alex draws his thumb across his neck as he gives off a sinister laugh into the camera before the scene fades out.
