gay...this could bite them in the ass...if they ever end up promoting a show that actually is good...say like the next roh ppv...and say it attracks new viewers it might make them look bad...

Ceno, it's called a dick. Go use yours rather than trying to be it.
I doubt they'll promote ROH, though it's possible. As long as people are attracted to easy-to-follow storylines rather than incredible matches, WWE will own wrestling.

It's a strange move that's for sure, but I kinda see where they could be coming from. So far I've seen articles on TNA, ROH and CHIKARA. While it might not be wise to promote other companies, we all saw what wrestling was like at the height of the Monday Night Wars. A thriving wrestling industry is of more value to WWE than most would realise. More wrestling fans could equal more viewers and more hits on their website and that all equals $$$.
*EDIT* A quick look now and they have... ROH PPV and notable dates TNA Impact results for Feb. 28, 2008 TNA stars on MTV (Advertising Motor City Machine Guns as Made Coaches) CHIKARA holds three day tag tournament TNA Lockdown, March schedule
