WOW... 1:30 of round one and Lesnar is tapping.
That sucks for Brock, hope he manages to get back up and win a fight.
He was pretty much all over Mir, Mir had the guard so lesnar broke, his leg got caught, and the ankle lock applied. I'll tell you, if he does that to others, Lesnar is gunna be notching up names as soon in UFC.

only reason brock lost: lack of experience. He's gonna be great in the UFC once he has experience under his belt. Just recently got into MMA, like within the past few months, and think it's great. I heard they want brock to go against Sylvia next, and I see Brock owning him.

He didn't though, Mir grabbing the kneebar and won the fight, if anything, Lesnar was making Mir into his bitch. I can't help but agree with pred, a little more experience and Lesnar would have ended that fight.

Brock does need the experience. He's been out of wrestling and football for how long? He just needs a couple more months to a year of training and then he's set.

There's a huge difference between wrestling and nfl, and MMA. He needs experience.

Brock was pounding the hell out of Mir, and he put him in an ankle lock out of nowhere. That doesn't make Mir a better fighter, it makes him a more experienced fighter. If Brock fought another rookie UFC fighter, he would've destroyed him. And James, being out of football and wrestling for that long has absolutely nothing to do with it. MMA is nothing like football and wrestling. Brock has been training harder than he's ever trained his whole career. 8 hour workouts EVERY DAY. With the amount of time he's putting in and his dedication, he will be great in the UFC

Nonetheless, he's been out of practice, especially in the mat work. He needs time to work the rust off thusly.

Experience is all it was. Lesnar looked awesome other than getting caught. You could see the difference in experience. Mir reached out for his ankle five seconds before attempting the sweep and Brock didn't even know it was coming. A UFC vet would've felt the touch on the ankle and pulled away.
I say they rematch in a year and Brock wins. Brock was also trying to live up to the hype, he was overly aggressive and wanted to finish it quickly. If he'd have been more composed, he could've taken a step back and shown Mir up on to his feet. In a standing battle, I'd take Lesnar every time, he doesn't want to get into a ground fight with Mir, he could put a submission hold on your ass and you'd tap!
Brock Vs Sylvia is what I wqould expect next, allthought I'd rather see him against someone not quite so well established so he can get some experience and wins under his belt before fighting another top 5 fighter.
Also, Tyson Griffen Vs Roger Huerta needs to happen!
p.s. anyone who says Lesnar was made to be Mir's bitch, or Lesnar got owned, pwned, his ass kicked blah blah blah, is a n00b. Sylvia was battering Minotauro until he got caught, exactly like Lesnar!
