Dozens of fireworks fire off from the stage and ring as Retribution kicks off. The cameras survey the hundreds of screaming fans as Johnathon’s voice breaks through the noise.
Johnathon Steele: Welcome everyone to Retribution. We are live in Lima Peru in front of a sold out crowd. And what a show we got for you. Two titles are on the line, we crown a new X-core number one contender, and we see Payne defend his Money In The Bank briefcase against Alex Stone in a match that will also decide the first Extreme Overload choice.
Justin White: But before all that, I understand we are going backstage to Jeff Jarrett’s office.
The crowd boos as Jeff Jarrett is now on the ewe tron. He is in his office.
Jeff Jarrett: We all heard the news that Rikku is no longer with us. But I want to assure you fans that there will be an Undisputed Championship match tonight. Thank you.
The crowd cheers but Jeff doesn’t disappear. Instead he turns and looks off camera.
Jeff Jarrett: So are we clear? I want someone who will jump when I snap my fingers. I point, they destroy. Can you do that?
The camera pans back to see Nightstalker sitting across from him. He shakes Jarrett’s hand with an evil grin.
Jeff Jarrett: Good. Now I got your first task.
The view screen cuts off. The lights come on to find Mike Justified in the ring. He stares down the ramp, waiting for Betty as Jennifer Sparks climbs in the ring.
Jennifer Sparks: The following contest is a grudge match, set for one fall. Already in the ring, Mike Justified.
The crowd gives a half ass cheer as Mike raises his hands. The eWe tron lights up again on a bathroom. In the corner is a beaten and bloody Betty Gein. Mike shakes his head at the accusing eyes he is getting.
Justin White: Why couldn’t Mike wait to get Betty in the ring. What a way to ruin the first match.
Johnathon Steele: I don’t think it was him. He looks dumbfounded.
Mike is decked from behind by Nightstalker. The crowd boos as Nightstalker lifts Mike up and powerbombs him. He lifts him again and walks to the corner. He grabs Mike and gives him a Mandible Slam onto the turnbuckle. The fans boo as Nightstalker laughs at Mike. Nightstalker leaves the ring as the medics run out to check on Mike Justified.
Johnathon Steele: So, who won that match?
Justin White: It looks like Nightstalker did. He is one and zero tonight.
The camera jumps back to Jarrett’s office. Jarrett is going over some paperwork as Chris Hart walks in. Jarrett looks up at him.
Jeff Jarrett: Mister Hart, what can I do for you?
Chris Hart: I was wondering who you had in mind to face Eighteen. Because I think I should. I can do double duty.
Jeff Jarrett: And just what makes you think you deserve a title shot?
Chris Hart ponders the best answer to give. Jeff smiles and pats him on the shoulder.
Jeff Jarrett: You just go out and take care of Dylan. You will have your answer soon enough.
Chris Hart seems content with this answer. He leaves the room. As soon as he is gone, Jeff hits his intercom.
Jeff Jarrett: Get Nightstalker back here.
The camera jumps back to the ring. The bell rings and Jennifer raises her microphone.
Jennifer Sparks: The following contest is set for one fall. Already in the ring, Ryoko.
Ryoko holds her hands up to the booing crowd. “Rockstar” by Prima J plays as the boos turn to cheers. Candice Michelle walks out to a roaring ovation. She poses for the fans on the ramp before making her way down to the ring.
Jennifer Sparks: Her opponent from Milwaukee Wisconsin. She is the Hall of Famer Candice Michelle.
Candice climbs into the ring and poses once more for her fans. The bell rings and Ryoko charges in wildly. Candice turns and delivers a devastating Spinning Heel Kick. Ryoko falls in a heap as Candice picks her up and hits the CandiWrapper. She pins and gets the three count. “Rockstar” plays again as Candice celebrates the easy win.
Jennifer Sparks: Your Winner is Candice Michelle!
Candice leaves the ring and exits through the fans as the scene cuts to a promo for Extreme Overload.

We return to the ring where “My Curse” by Killswitch Engage is playing overhead. Chris Hart is in the ring, running the ropes. The music changes to “Money’ by Zebrahead. Chris stops running and waits as Dylan walks on the stage. Dylan stops walking and a huge smile crosses his face. Chris isn’t sure why until the fans begin cheering. He turns around quickly just in time to catch a guitar shot to his head by Jeff Jarrett. Chris falls into a heap as Jarrett pulls out a microphone.
Jeff Jarrett: Let me make on thing perfectly clear. I run the show around here and what I say goes. And I’m not going to tolerate no shows, specially from people like you Hart. So as for your title shot, forget it. Enjoy your time back on Download where you belong. As for you Dylan, I got three words for you. Get Him Nightstalker.
Dylan doesn’t react quick enough as he is clotheslined from behind. The fans boo as Dylan is given a bit of a beating before Nightstalker gives him a Mandible Slam off the stage and into a souvenir stand. Jarrett picks Hart up and delivers a Stroke before leaving the ring and walking toward the back with Nightstalker. The camera moves to Johnathon and Justin.
Johnathon Steele: This is madness. Is Jarrett going to let any match actually take place.
Justin White: He is showing off his authority. And letting everyone know what happens when you don’t play by his rules. I’m sure there will be some matches taking place soon enough.
The camera finds Jennifer back in the ring. She holds up her microphone.
Jennifer Sparks: The following contest is the First Blood match. Introducing first: Kris Jaxson.
The crowd cheers as Kris Jaxson walks out. He gets in the ring and shows off.
Jennifer Sparks: Second, she is Alexis Romanov.
The crowd cheers again as she walks out and makes her way to the ring, watching Kris Jaxson.
Jennifer Sparks: Introducing next. Brett Unknown.
Brett Unknown comes out, not looking real excited to be in this match. He gets in the ring and backs into a corner.
Jennifer Sparks: Introducing next, Chris Steel.
Chris Steel walks out to a nice pop. He runs to the ring and dives in. He points to Brett Unknown and the two begin exchanging words.
Jennifer Sparks: And finally Nightstalker.
Nightstalker walks out, smiling like a little kid in a candy store. He runs to the ring and slides in. Immediately Steel and Unknown jump on him and begin double teaming him. Jaxson walks over to Alexis and appears to be flirting with her. She responds by moving in real close. Kris smiles, until Alexis bites him on his head. Kris screams out and pushes her away. Too late though as he is bleeding from where she bit him. The referee sees this and points toward the back. Kris curses and leaves the ring.
Jennifer Sparks: Kris Jaxson has been eliminated.
Alexis waves Brett in. Brett shakes his head. The moment he gives Nightstalker is all Nightstalker needs. He grabs Brett and Chris by their heads and slams them together hard. Brett begins bleeding from the impact. The referee checks on Chris who is amazingly not bleeding.
Jennifer Sparks: Brett Unknown has been eliminated.
Justin White: And he doesn’t seem real disappointed about it. Look how fast he left the ring.
Nightstalker grabs Steel and gives him a big headbutt, trying to break him open. Alexis runs and jumps on Nightstalker’s back, clawing at his forehead. Nightstalker grabs her head and flips her over. Steel rolls outside and grabs a chair. He rolls in and cracks Nightstalker in the head. He waits for Alexis to stand. He starts to swing but stops when she gives him a sad look. In return, she kicks him low. She takes the chair and cracks him with it. She walks over and cracks Nightstalker across his face a few times.
Justin White: Alexis is dominating out here. Who knew.
Johnathon Steele: She did. She has been talking about it all week.
Chris has again left the ring and is looking around under it. He finds what he is looking for. He pulls out a long, fluorescent bulb. He climbs in the ring and takes measure on Alexis. Alexis sees this and backs into the corner getting ready to protect her head. Nightstalker is back on his feet. He yanks the bulb away from Chris. Before Chris can respond, Nightstalker swings it like a baseball bat. It connects with a pop as Steel falls. Glass shatters everywhere as Steel begins bleeding from his cut forehead. Alexis leaves the ring as Nightstalker is still holding the remains of the bulb which is now jagged. Nightstalker waves in Alexis.
Jennifer Sparks: Chris Steel has been eliminated.
Alexis won’t get back in the ring as long as Nightstalker has the glass. Nightstalker tosses it out of the ring, causing the fans close by to scatter. Alexis dives in and runs at Nightstalker, nailing him in the head. Nightstalker laughs and shakes his head. Alexis nails him again for the same results. Alexis jumps up and hits a DDT. She picks up the chair and turns it up. She jabs it down on his head. Nightstalker catches the chair and uses it to fling Alexis toward the ropes. He gets to his feet but Alexis clips his leg. She straddles Nightstalker and digs at his forehead with her nails. Nightstalker pushes her away but she quickly jumps on his back, still clawing at his forehead.
Justin White: This girl is either really brave or extremely stupid.
Johnathon Steele: I don’t think Nightstalker expected this from Alexis. She is giving him her all.
Nightstalker has now got to his feet, Alexis still on his back. He backs into a corner but Alexis rolls aside, avoiding the impact. She leaves the ring and grabs the bar used to tighten the ring ropes. She rolls in and swings at Nightstalker, hitting him in the head. He rolls outside. The referee follows, checking his head to see that he isn’t bleeding. Nightstalker picks up a wrench that was under the ring and rolls in. Alexis charges him and swings. At the same time, Nightstalker swings the wrench. Both connect, hitting each other in the head. Nightstalker stumbles out and falls to the floor. Alexis falls face first, blood escaping from just above her eye. The referee calls for the bell.
Jennifer Sparks: Alexis has been eliminated, therefore your winner is Nightstalker!
The fans boo as Nightstalker walks to the back holding his head. Blood is coming out from between his fingers.
Justin White: Nightstalker is bleeding too. This match shouldn’t be over.
Johnathon Steele: The referee didn’t see him bleeding though. And you know Jarrett won’t reverse the decision. So it looks like Alexis was screwed.
Alexis has rolled out of the ring and seems to be cursing herself as she walks toward the back. The scene moves to a commercial for the three disk Wrestlemania Five dvd coming out Tuesday.

The ring has been cleared and cleaned up the best they can. The bell rings and Kingspade’s “Who Runs This” blares overhead.
Jennifer Sparks: The following contest is set for one fall and it is for the International Championship! Introducing the challenger. From Atlanta Georgia, Scotty Blaze!
Scotty Blaze walks out, getting a nice pop from the crowd. He walks down to the ring and climbs inside. He waves toward the back as the music changes to “This Night I Call Bad Luck” by Mister Monster begins. The crowd boos as Danny Danger walks out.
Jennifer Sparks: And now the champion. He is one half of The Prophesy and the International Champion. From Detroit Michigan, Danny Danger!
Danny walks down to the ring and climbs inside. He takes off the title and walks over to Scotty. He holds it up in Scotty’s face as the referee calls for the bell. Danny tosses the belt at the referee and decks Scotty. The crowd boos as Danny begins stomping on Scotty.
Justin White: Cheap shot by Danny Danger.
Johnathon Steele: Hello Justin, that is why it is called No DQ.
Danny picks Scotty up and whips him into the ropes. On the rebound, he delivers a spinning neck breaker. Danny pins but Scotty kicks out at two. Danny puts Scotty in a headlock. Scotty climbs to his feet and elbows Danny. He backs him into the corner and the referee calls for a break. Danny releases the headlock and slaps Scotty. Scotty answers with a right that takes Danny off his feet. Danny jumps back up just to get punched again. He climbs to his feet and gets punched down again. He rolls out of the ring as the crowd boos. Scotty uses the top rope to catapult him on Danny. The crowd cheers as both men stay down on the floor.
Justin White: Scotty is putting his body on the line to take out Danny Danger and win the title.
Johnathon Steele: It’s stupid. If he hurts himself, he won’t be in any shape to defend that title.
Scotty is first on his feet. He grabs Danny by his hair and pulls him to his feet. He kicks him in the gut and delivers his finisher the C-4. The crowd cheers as Scotty rolls Danny into the ring. He pins but somehow Danny kicks out at two. Scotty picks Danny up to go for another C-4 but Danny manages to battle out of it. He kicks Scotty and delivers his D7X. The crowd boos as Danny pins but Scotty kicks out at two. Danny stands up and begins to argue with the referee. Scotty crawls over and school boys Danny. He puts his feet on the ropes for leverage but Danny still manages to kick out right before the three. Scotty bows his head and curses as Danny rolls out of the ring again.
Justin White: Scotty cheated! It’s about like a dope head.
Johnathon Steele: Do I need to remind you again that this is No DQ. It is kill or be killed.
Scotty runs at the ropes and baseball slides, kicking Danny into the announce table. Danny turns and lays down, his top half on the table. Scotty runs to the corner and climbs to the top turnbuckle. He holds his hands up, getting the crowd cheering. He jumps off but Danny moves. Scotty lands full weight on one leg. It gives out under him and he falls into a heap, holding his leg. Danny laughs as he picks Scotty up and tosses him into the ring. He tries to pin but again Scotty kicks out at two. Danny grabs Scotty’s leg and tries for a figure four but Scotty kicks him away with his good leg. Scotty stands and tries to walk forward, but he falls down. Danny rushes over and again tries for the figure four but again he is kicked away. Scotty uses the ropes to get to his feet. Danny walks over when Scotty hits a C-4 out of no where. The crowd erupts as both men are down.
Justin White: Where the hell did that come from?
Johnathon Steele: I don’t know but that has to be it for Scotty. He has nothing left.
Scotty crawls over and makes the pin but Danny kicks out right at the three. The fans cheer as Scotty gets to his feet. He backs into the ropes and calls for another C-4. Suddenly the wack of a chair rings out. Predator has jumped the guard rail and nailed Scotty in his bad leg with the chair. Scotty is down again as Predator pulls Scotty into the corner and twice slams his leg against the pole. The crowd boos as Predator backs away, trying to look innocent. Danny pulls Scotty into the middle of the ring and locks on a Boston Crab. Scotty struggles for the ropes but the pain is too great. He finally has no choice but to tap out.
Jennifer Sparks: Here is your winner and still International Champion: Danny Danger.
The crowd boos as Danny is handed his title. He leaves the ring and walks backwards up the ramp, celebrating with Predator. The medics check on Scotty as the scene fades to a few sponsor spots.
The ring is now set up for the Ultimate X match. The crowd boos as “Enter Sandman” by Metallica plays overhead. Derrick Sanderson walks out and down the ramp, sneering at the fans. He goes to the announce table and sits down next to Johnathon Steele.
Johnathon Steele: What are you doing out here?
Derrick Sanderson: I’m out here to enjoy your company. I’m out here to scout you fucking moron.
Johnathon Steele: You can’t say that on TV.
Derrick Sanderson: It’s pay per view so I can say whatever the fuck I want. Deal with it.
Damian James’ music plays overhead as Jennifer raises her microphone.
Jennifer Sparks: The following contest is the Ultimate X match for the number one contendership for the X-Core title. Introducing first, Damian James.
Damian walks down the ramp and climbs into the ring. He shouts at Derrick who just smirks at him. The music changes to Jermaine Kent’s music. He gets quite a pop as he walks down to the ring.
Jennifer Sparks: His opponent, Jermaine Kent.
Jermaine gets in the ring and looks up at the replica X-core title hanging from the X. He glances non chalauntly at Derrick before focusing on Damian. Jesse Woods music plays as he comes running out of the back.
Jennifer Sparks: And finally Jesse Woods.
Jesse Woods runs down the ramp and climbs the rope jumping for the X. Seeing this Jermaine catches him and hits an inverted body slam. The bell rings as Jennifer bails.
Johnathon Steele: And it is time to figure out who your next opponent will be.
Derrick Sanderson: Does it really matter? They will get beat as easily as I dusted off Jeff Payne and Alex Stone.
The Jesse and Damian begin double teaming Jermaine Kent, obviously viewing him as the threat. They take him into the corner and tie him up in the ropes. They then take turns hitting each other. Finally Jesse takes the advantage, hitting a spinning heel kick. Damian goes down. Jesse goes for the ropes but Jermaine is loose. He rushes over and catches Jesse, slamming him to the mat.
Derrick Sanderson: This is boring.
Derrick leaves his seat and vies in the ring, nailing Jermaine with the championship. He turns and kicks Damian, nailing a Pure Domination. He picks up Jermaine and throws him over the top rope. He walks over to Damian and grabs his arm. He pulls backwards, causing Damian to scream out in pain. Damian begins tapping but Derrick just pulls back harder. Finally Derrick releases the hold. He laughs as he rolls Damian out of the ring. He looks around but doesn’t see Jesse anywhere. Suddenly the bell rings. On the X, Jesse has managed to reach the title.
Jennifer Sparks: Here is your winner: Jesse Woods.
Derrick can’t believe it. What he can’t believe more is what happens next. Jesse back flips off the X. He catches Derrick on the way down and hits an inverted neck breaker. The crowd erupts as Jesse holds up the X-core title. He lays it on Derrick and leaves the ring as the scene cuts backstage. We are back in Jeff Jarrett’s office. Jeff has a huge smile on his face as he looks off camera.
Jeff Jarrett: This has to be the greatest moment of my career right here.
He stands up and the camera pulls back to see Johnny Chaos standing there, his arm in a big cast. He has the X-Division title over his shoulder.
Jeff Jarrett: The time is up Johnny. If you can’t defend the title, then you have to relinquish it.
Johnny Chaos: You know what this title represents. I’d rather die then turn it over to you Jarrett.
The hatred is still there. It just brings a smile to Jarrett’s face.
Jeff Jarrett: So much pent up frustration. Let’s make this a bit more clear for you Slap Nut. Turn over the title or I’ll take it from you. Or shall I say, he will.
Nightstalker stands behind Johnny. He clenches Johnny’s hurt shoulder and places enough pressure to cause Johnny to wince in pain. Finally Johnny slams the title down on Jarrett’s desk. He leans close to Jarrett.
Johnny Chaos: Just know that I will return one day. And your first.
Johnny storms out of the room. Jarrett picks up the X-Division title and smiles at it.
Jeff Jarrett: I got plans for you.
The camera goes back to the announcers where Justin White has rejoined Johnathon Steele.
Johnathon Steele: What is going to happen with the X-division title. Only God knows what Jarrett has in store for it.
Justin White: Well I know what we are in store for. It’s time for a Street Fight between Derrick Sanderson and Mr. Man. Which I understand is going to start in the parking lot.
The camera switches to the parking lot where a pissed off Derrick Sanderson is on the look out for Mr. Man. He suddenly dodges left to avoid a car coming right at him. The car turns the corner and Derrick yells after it. He is then hit with a steel chair by Mr Man from behind. Mr. Man hitting Derrick with the chair a few times before tossing it aside. He picks Derrick up and pulls him over to a car. He slams Derrick’s head into the hood of the car a few times. Manny then picks Derrick up and slams him on the hood of the car. Manny walks over to find another weapon as Derrick slides off the hood and to the floor.
Justin White: Isn’t that your rental car Johnathon?
Johnathon Steele: I should have known better then to park it there.
Manny comes back with a tire iron. He goes to hit Derrick but Derrick grabs his feet, sweeping him off his feet. Derrick stands and slingshots Manny into the windshield of the car. It cracks but doesn’t break. Manny falls off the hood and checks his head for blood. He gets up and Derrick goes on the attack, driving a few knees into the head of Manny. He grabs Manny and tosses him into the windshield again. It cracks worse but still doesn’t break. Derrick curses as Manny falls to the floor. Derrick climbs up on the hood and looks down at the glass. Manny get to his feet and jump on the back of Derrick’s head, driving it through the glass. The crowd gasps and screams as Derrick is now bleeding all over the front of the car. Manny pulls him out and rolls him up on the floor. The referee counts two before Derrick manages to escape. Johnathon Steele: What the hell was Derrick thinking looking down at that glass.
Justin White: Probably wondering why the glass didn’t break.
Manny straddles Derrick and begins punching him where the blood is coming from. Derrick forces Manny off and both climb to their feet. Derrick tries for a quick clothesline but Manny ducks. Manny kicks Derrick and hits a Future Shock. The crowd erupts as Manny looks at the big production truck. Manny kicks Derrick a few times and then climbs the ladder. He gets to the top of the truck and looks down at Derrick. Manny lifts both his hands as the fans begin cheering.
Johnathon Steele: Don’t do it Manny. It’s not worth it.
Justin White: Someone get him down from there.
Manny leaps off the truck, nailing a Future Splash. The crowd erupts as Manny rolls off, holding his mid section. He finally crawls over and makes the pin. At two, Angelina Love pulls Manny off the pin. Manny quickly jumps to his feet and grabs Angelina. He pulls her in and lays a huge kiss on her. She pulls away looking horrified as Manny licks his lips. Angelina backs off as Derrick school boys Manny. Manny kicks out at two. Derrick is back to his feet about the same time as Manny is. Manny kicks him first and delivers another Future Shock. He goes to pin but Angelina begins creeping forward. Manny jumps up and she retreats back.
Johnathon Steele: This is ridiculous. Manny can’t win with those two around.
Justin White: He will have to figure something out.
Manny does just that as he chases Angelina out of the parking lot area. He blocks the door so she can’t get back in. He walks over to Derrick who still isn’t moving from the last Future Shock. He starts to pin when he sees Velvet Skye standing close by. She waves him in. After delivering two kicks to Derrick’s head, Manny walks over telling her to leave. She gives him a smile and blows him a kiss. Manny smiles and walks closer to her, asking if she wants one. She says yes. Manny gets close and Velvet blows powder into his face. Manny struggles back and into a Pure Domination by Derrick Sanderson. Derrick pins and gets the three as the fans boo. Angelina finds her way aback in and joins the celebration with Derrick and Velvet. They walk off as Manny slowly gets to his knees, still trying to get the powder out of his face. The scene moves to the announcers.
Johnathon Steele: With that Derrick wins again. Can anyone stop him?
Justin White: As long as he has Angelina and Velvet, I’m not sure they can. But now is the time for another feud match. Predator and Sean Lewis.

Jennifer Sparks: The following contest is a Hardcore match and is set for one fall. Introducing first, representing the Prophesy, Predator!
This Fire Burns” by Killswitch Engage plays as the fans boo. Predator walks out and looks around at the fans. He walks to the ring and picks up a steel chair and kendo stick from the floor. He sits the chair in the ring and has a seat as the music changes to “Smart Went Crazy” by Atmosphere plays overhead. Sean walks out of the back to a thunderous ovation.
Jennifer Sparks: His opponent. The Hall of Famer and three time World Champion. The Slug Sean Lewis.
Sean reaches into the curtain and brings out a shopping cart full of weapons. He drags it down the ramp with him as Predator seems to be getting concerned. Sean looks through his weapons, almost like a kid staring at candy. He finally pulls out a kendo stick and slides into the ring. Predator stands and swings at the same time Sean does. The sticks collide in mid air. They spend a few motions crashing sticks, almost like a sword fight. Finally Predator kicks Sean low. Sean drops to his knees as Predator smacks him with the stick. Sean falls over and Predator tosses the stick out of the ring. He picks up the chair and wacks Sean with the chair a few times. He poses to the crowd as they boo him.
Johnathon Steele: Predator is looking good in the early goings.
Justin White: But he has to stay on Sean. We both know Sean can turn things around at the drop of a hat.
On cue, Sean manages to kick Predator back. Sean jumps to his feet and catches the chair as Predator swings it at him. Sean is the one who kicks Predator low and pulls the chair away. Sean places Predator’s throat on the chair and slams it down. Predator falls back, holding his throat. Sean reaches outside the ring and gets a fire extinguisher. Predator turns and Sean blasts him with the spray. The crowd laughs as Predator rolls around and finally leaves the ring. He climbs to his feet and leans on the guard rail. Sean jumps to the top rope and leaps off, delivering a leg drop to Predator again making Predator slam down on his throat. The crowd cheers as Sean rolls in the ring and shows off for the fans.
Johnathon Steele: Predator is going to need a voice box before the night is over.
Justin White: Now it is Sean’s time to stay on Predator. Don’t give him a second to breath.
Predator is trying to get to his feet. Sean again jumps the top rope, hitting another leg drop to the back of Predator. He rolls Predator into the ring and follows him in. Sean pins but Predator kicks out. Sean picks Predator up and carries him over to the chair. He nails a Gloria on the steel chair as the crowd stands and erupts. Sean pins but at two, Danny Danger pulls the referee out of the ring. The crowd boos as Danny yells at the referee. Sean picks up Predator and hits another Gloria. He pins and the crowd counts three. Finally Sean slides outside of the ring and decks Danny. The crowd cheers as both Sean and the referee return to the ring. Sean pins but Predator manages to put his foot on the rope to survive the count.
Johnathon Steele: This Prophesy group is getting out of hand. Something has to be done about them.
Justin White: Sean seems to be taking care of himself.
Sean picks up Predator and slams him unto the chair. Sean runs to the corner and climbs to the top rope. He calls for a splash but never gets it off. Danny has got a tazor and has tazed Sean in his lower back. Sean falls off the turnbuckle and Predator quickly covers getting the three. The crowd erupts in boos as Predator rolls out of the ring and joins his partner. They walk backwards up the ramp, holing up the tazor as Sean glares at Danny.
Jennifer Sparks: Here is your winner, Danny Danger
Sean mouths This isn’t over as we return to Jarrett’s office. The door swings open and Mr. Man storms in. He knocks a few things over as he makes his way to the desk.
Jeff Jarrett: Problems?
Mr. Man: I’m sick of this shit. I should be champion. I shouldn’t even have had to mess with that idiot Derrick and his little sluts.
Jeff Jarrett: You want a title shot? All you had to do is ask me nicely.
Mr. Man: Cut the bullshit Jarrett.
Jeff Jarrett: You better watch who you’re talking to. I own you. But you want a title shot, fine. I’ll give you a chance for a spot at Extreme Overload. All you have to do is get through Nightstalker. Now get out.
Mr. Man looks to argue but he sees Nightstalker standing in the corner. He turns and leaves the room. We return to the ring where Alex Stone is warming up. Cena is in the ring, sporting referee stripes. *Welcome to the Jungle” blares overhead as the fans erupt. Jeff Payne walks out of the back. He walks straight to the ring, slapping hands with the fans. He tosses his briefcase to Cena and gets nose to nose with Stone.
Jennifer Sparks: This contest is a two out of three falls match and is for the first spot at Extreme Overload.
That’s all she gets out as Payne headbutts Alex hard. Alex falls to the ground holding his head. Cena admonishes Payne who just laughs at him. Alex stands and charges in blind rage. Payne catches him and lifts him up on his shoulders. He climbs to the top rope and nails a Payne Killer off the top rope. He hooks Stone’s leg as Cena counts three.
Jennifer Sparks: The winner of fall one, Jeff Payne.
Johnathon Steele: What the hell?
Justin White: I’m not sure Stone knows what hit him.
Payne walks over and rolls Stone into the Tiger Snare. It only takes a moment before Stone taps out. The bell rings as Payne releases the hold and holds his hand up.
Jennifer Sparks: The winner of the second fall and the match: Jeff Payne.
Cena shrugs and hands Payne back his briefcase. Stone has reached his feet just to get nailed with the briefcase by Payne. Cena admonishes Jeff again. Jeff shrugs and rolls out of the ring. He walks to the back as *Welcome to the Jungle* plays again. The camera follows Payne backstage. As soon as he breaks the curtain, he finds K~Dawg standing there. K~Dawg applauds but he isn’t smiling.
K~Dawg: Well done,. Like the true legend you are. But don’t you think the last shot was uncalled for?
Jeff Payne: Get with the program K~D. I’m not taking no more shit from you rookies. You get in the way, and you will be ran over.
K~Dawg: Is that a fact? Why don’t you face me next week? Let’s see if you can put this “rookie” down.
Jeff Payne: I taught you everything you know. I’m so sure I can beat you, I’ll put my spot at Extreme Overload on the line.
Jeff extends his hand. There is a pretty stiff stareoff before Jeff pulls free and walks away. The scene goes back to the ring where Jeff Jarrett is found in the ring. He is in a suit and his guitar leans in the corner. Jeff raises his microphone.
Jeff Jarrett: As you know, Rikku is no longer with the company. But I promised a Undisputed title match and I’m going to deliver. Eighteen, if you will.
The crowd erupts as Sinner plays overhead. Eighteen walks out of the back, the Undisputed title around her waist. She walks to the ring and glares at Jarrett. She hands the belt to the referee.
Jeff Jarrett: The following contest is a Last Man Standing match. Introducing first your Undisputed champion, Android Eighteen.
The crowd erupts. Eighteen smirks and turns toward the ramp.
Jeff Jarrett: And her opponent...
The arena stays quiet as everyone turns toward the entry way. Suddenly Jarrett grabs his guitar and slams it over the head of Eighteen. The crowd boos as Jarrett raises the microphone to his lips.
Jeff Jarrett: Her opponent is The Real King of the Mountain and eWe General Manager Jeff Jarrett. Referee, count her out.
The crowd boos as Jarrett stripes down to his ring attire and the referee begins counting to ten.
Johnathon Steele: Say it with me Justin. Ding Dong the bitch is gone!
Justin White: This is bullshit. Jarrett is drunk with power.
At eight Eighteen climbs to her feet. Jarrett walks over and delivers “The Stroke” as the fans begin tossing stuff into the ring. He backs off and orders the referee to count again. At eight, Eighteen again makes it to her feet. Jarrett curses and rolls out of the ring. He pulls another guitar from under the ring. He holds it in the air to the booing crowd. He rolls in the ring and holds it over his head. Eighteen suddenly turns and shoots off a fireball. Jarrett quickly pulls the guitar in the way. It catches fire and Jeff tosses it. Eighteen catches it and swings, smashing it over Jarrett’s head. Jarrett’s eyes rolls up in his head as he falls over. The referee makes it to ten and rings the bell. Eighteen grabs her title and leaves the ring.
Jennifer Sparks: Here is your winner and still Undisputed champion Android Eighteen.
Eighteen walks up the ramp, holding up her title. Jarrett throws a fit in the ring as the scene fades to the eWe logo and Retribution comes to an end.
